Heeeeelllllllllloooooooooo everyone! Hope that everything is going amazing in your neck of the woods! I hear it is snowing. A lot.
That makes
me very jealous.
We are
enjoying the hot temperatures now. And it shall be heating up more.
But apart
from the weather, Honduras is AMAZING! Julia, our investigator and her daughter
were baptized on Saturday! It was an amazing experience, especially considering
that we found her the 2nd of January, and she got baptized before the month
ended. That is a powerful demonstration of the Spirit for me. She has made many
changes and has many great kids. They just need to stop drinking coffee and
they can get baptized too! But we showed up to the place to baptize (there isn’t
a baptismal font in Copan) and it turns out that the Branch President had
rented this giant awesome pool for us to use! Uh...alright! I’m cool with that!
We are also
teaching many great families. The Vega family specifically, they are just fabulous.
He decided that he can’t work on Sundays, so he works late on Saturdays so that
he can be free to go to church on Sunday. He is family of the Branch President,
and as such we receive a lot of help from him. They are just great and have the
2 of the cutest kids I have met in Honduras. They are a very precious family out here
in Copan!
Anyways,
that was the great highlight of the week. Love it here, love every second of
it. And yeah...keep the letters coming! I got a swarm of cards from grandma
this Tuesday at the District meeting, as well as Christmas cards. Loved it!
Vaya Pues!
